I’m a copywriter and certified content marketer who hates marketing. Which is why I love content marketing.
Yep, I hate sleazy marketing ploys, but I love crafting irresistible copy that attracts people to products and services that help them solve problems.
I love strategizing, storytelling, and giving people the solutions they’re searching for to make their lives better.
So I write honest, research-driven, ballsy copy for brands whose stories I respect and want to share.

Ask Erin for copy and she’ll make it magic. Embodying the best of both analytical and creative worlds, she’s a must-have for presenting the best side of your business.
Not just the yes, but the “HELL YES!”
I fell into marketing. I was just an innocent scribe, a free agent writing about food and music, penning for a nonprofit, and editing craft books and novels.
Then I became a proofreader for the Crisis Prevention Institute, and my life changed. Not only was I now an in-house employee, the position happened to be in the marketing department. I spent two glorious years editing wise content on how to help vulnerable people.
Marketing doesn’t have to be manipulative, sleazy, dishonest, or fake. Marketing can be about educating, entertaining, and inspiring. Building a community, and selling something that helps people.
CPI taught me how that works. So when my boss offered me a copywriting job, I seized it like the day.
I spent the next 5 years leading web copy and persuading people to buy a service that helps them do good.
I studied the art of honest persuasion and the science of non-slimy selling like I was getting a Ph.D. I devoured content marketing courses and conferences like they were garlic naan. (I’ve been gluten-free for 17 years, but I dream of devouring garlic naan.)
As I built our content strategy, we saw more and more success with generating and nurturing leads...
by creating resources that help people. It was right in line with the mission of our company.
Along the way, I gained skills in SEO, conversion rate optimization, user experience, and guiding visuals so copy and design marry like rock ’n roll.
In 2015, I earned Certified Content Marketer status from Copyblogger. I’ve been thrilled to be part of their community of pros ever since.
In 2017, I was ready to bring my chops to more businesses that want to do good with good marketing.
Family emergencies and a soul yearning for freedom propelled me to leave a job I loved...to start a business I love.
Now I continue to train with A-list copywriters like Brian Clark, Sonia Simone, and Joanna Wiebe. And I’m stoked to have the skills to speak to your customers' deepest needs (in an honest, true, non-manipulative way) so they pull out their credit cards and say . . .
“This is what I’ve been longing for all my life!"
It’s thrilling to help even more people grow their businesses with words that sell.
I do this from places like Greece as often as I can. And mostly I score results for my clients from my office in Wisconsin.
I have a quiet room with a desk and all that, but I also love working in my living room, where I'm extra comfy and the words flow like hot lava oozing from a volcano of persuasion.
I’m not for you if...
I’m totally for you if...
Why work with me?
I’m the one to come to when you want words that sell online.
A little about you:
Are you right for me? You could be if...
At the moment, most of my clients are in the health sector. Their focuses include insurance, nursing and hospital accreditation, violence prevention training, information security, software development...
...plus a few of my favorite things, such as herbal medicine, shamanism, energy healing, and ancient mysteries.
Your copy is your 24/7 online salesperson.
So what should it say, and how will you score the clicks?
Crafting words that sell isn’t easy. It’s a magical mix of art and science that costs you business if you don’t get it right.
So stop guessing ’bout what might work. With strategic copy that pops with personality, I’ll help you sell like hotcakes while you create the stuff your customers can’t live without.
